Welcome to the Unity Centre of North East Edmonton
Our mission is to strengthen and encourage the development of healthier families and individuals by providing low-cost or free preventative, educational and recreational programs in a safe, caring and inviting environment.
Our membership includes individuals of various cultural backgrounds who live in chronic poverty and are educationally and socially disadvantaged. Poverty and its' ever present manifestations such as family violence, substance abuse, isolation, and hunger are the most prominent barriers faced by individuals and families in our service area. All of these obstacles pose serious risks to the health and well-being not only of the individual, but to the community as a whole.
